Ultra Mirror Process

The excellent cutting edge is mirror-ground and machined to a fine edge. The ±0.005 mm accuracy is unrivaled. Accuracy in roughness on the cut face is indispensable, as is minimized paper powder, refined die-cutting, and burr prevention. This product is superior in such exacting requirements.MIR Series products are used mainly for the following:
- Die-cutting requiring a clear cut face, especially for clear packages, special sheets, and laminating films
- Cardboard easily producing powder during cutting (paper powder minimization)
- Surface-treated cardboard to prevention surface-treated material from separating from the original paper
The absolute potential of Thomson cutters is displayed in both the above products and for different materials, applications, and environments.

NCD60 prevent paper dust problems caused by damaged cutting edge

The center cutter, used for die-cutting common paper containers and cardboard, minimizes the generation of paper powder while preventing damage and/or deterioration to the cutter edge.
NDC60 series cutter edges are 2-staged at a 60-degree angle from the standard center cutter angle to prevent damage to sheets caused by broken cutter edges and to minimize paper powder generation.
- We recommend using plates made of hard stainless steel
Ideal fir die cutting of plastic sheets!!

The cutter edge has been reinforced, enabling a variety of plastic sheets to be cleanly cut. Height up to 80 mm is available.
- The following sheets can be die-cut:
- A-PET, PE, PVC, PS, PP, ABS, AS HIPS, PSP, AN, etc.
Ideal fir die cutting of adhesive sheets! Fluoro resin coating.

Die-cutting adhesive sheet conventionally required much work to remove adhesive sticking to the cutter. This is minimized by coating the cutter edge with fluorine resin, greatly reducing adhesive removal work.
Adhesive FPC, membrane sheets, spacer sheets, nameplates, stickers, badges, forms labels, adhesive tape, etc.
